Detailed Review
The Elgato 4K Pro is an internal capture card designed for streamers and content creators who want high-resolution gameplay alongside crisp broadcast quality. Built to handle modern video feeds, it allows players to pass through video signals up to 8K60 while simultaneously capturing content in 4K60.
Connectivity centers around HDMI 2.1 input and output ports, enabling advanced video modes without sacrificing speed. Beyond 4K60 recording, the card accommodates high-refresh capture reaching up to 240fps in 1080p resolution. It also features Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) passthrough to eliminate screen tearing during fast motion, while ultra-low latency keeps your live commentary and gameplay in tight synchronization.
Software integration is straightforward across popular production tools. The hardware connects directly with applications such as OBS, Streamlabs, Twitch Studio, Restream, Zoom, and Teams. This wide support makes it easy to broadcast directly to destinations like Twitch, YouTube, Discord, and Facebook Gaming.
As an internal card, installation requires a compatible desktop computer with an open slot. The product listing does not state specific physical dimensions, system hardware requirements, or included accessories, so buyers should confirm their desktop setup supports an internal PCIe device.
