Detailed Review
The EVERSPROUT Twist-On Fruit Picker Basket Head is designed for gardeners and homeowners looking to harvest tree fruit without climbing ladders. This attachment focuses on quick setup and gentle handling, making it a practical addition if you already own compatible extension poles and want to reach high branches safely.
A key feature is the universal twist-on connection. The basket threads directly onto any Eversprout pole or standard pole equipped with standard US or 3/4-inch Acme threading. This twist-on design creates a secure, reliable fit that resists twisting loose or wobbling while you pull fruit from upper branches.
To protect your harvest, the basket includes a soft foam cushion at the bottom. As produce drops into the double-coated wire frame, the pad prevents bruising on impact. The basket opening measures 5.6 inches in diameter, making it suitable for harvesting items sized between 1.25 and 5.5 inches, including apples, citrus, avocados, pears, and stone fruits.
Keep in mind that this purchase includes only the basket head, so you will need to supply your own threaded extension pole. Additionally, produce wider than 5.5 inches in diameter will not fit through the opening, so it is not built for oversized fruits or very large produce varieties.
Verdict: This pre-assembled fruit picker head is an efficient, gentle solution for anyone who already has a standard threaded pole. It is a great choice for harvesting everyday tree fruits like apples, oranges, and avocados without bruising.
