Detailed Review
The LAANPOLE Fruit Picker Pole is an adjustable harvesting tool designed to help homeowners and gardeners pick tree fruit from ground level without climbing a ladder. Featuring a telescoping pole that adjusts between 5 and 20 feet, this tool provides up to 26 feet of total overhead reach when lifted. It suits anyone looking to collect tree-ripened produce safely and efficiently.
To make overhead harvesting easier, the pole uses a lightweight construction secured by flip locks that keep the extended sections stable and resistant to bending. At the base, a non-slip handle gives you steady control as you hook produce. The tool attaches to a 5-inch diameter basket designed for accurate hooking, allowing you to harvest apples, oranges, mangos, and similar tree fruits with minimal effort.
Fruit protection is central to the basket design. A bowl-shaped foam cushion rests at the bottom of the basket, giving harvested produce a soft landing to prevent bruising, scratches, or other exterior damage. Assembly is straightforward and requires just a few simple steps, letting you put the unit together quickly and begin harvesting right away.
While the tool offers substantial reach, the 5-inch basket diameter means it is best suited for standard medium-sized fruits rather than oversized varieties. Additionally, the listing does not mention the exact weight of the pole or the specific type of metal used in its construction, though it notes a relatively lightweight build.
Verdict: The LAANPOLE Fruit Picker Pole is an effective, ladder-free harvesting option for backyard growers with tall trees. Its long reach, secure flip locks, and foam-cushioned basket make it an ideal choice for safely picking apples, citrus, and mangos.
