Detailed Review
The LG C2 65-Inch OLED evo Smart TV delivers advanced display technology for movie enthusiasts and console or PC gamers. Built around 8 million self-lit OLED pixels, this television produces infinite contrast, deep blacks, and a spectrum spanning over a billion colors. It addresses the need for accurate, immersive home entertainment in living rooms or dedicated media spaces.
Driving the display is the alpha 9 Gen 5 AI Processor 4K, which recognizes the type of media playing and automatically adjusts picture and audio settings for balanced performance. For cinema fans, Filmmaker Mode strips away extra motion processing to show films as directors intended, while integrated Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos handle compatible dynamic video and spatial audio formats.
Gamers benefit from a dedicated Game Optimizer dashboard that organizes essential settings in one menu. Support for NVIDIA G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) ensures fluid on-screen motion during fast-paced play. The TV also features a contemporary gallery design engineered to sit flush against the wall with virtually no gap.
Before buying, consider the setup requirements. The package includes a power cable, quick start guide, wall mount, and a Magic Remote with AA batteries, but a tabletop stand is not included and must be purchased separately if you do not plan to wall mount using its 300 x 200 VESA pattern.
Verdict: The LG C2 is an outstanding choice for home theater buffs and serious gamers who want top-tier black levels, responsive gaming features, and a sleek wall-mounted profile.
