Greenworks 40V 21" Brushless Cordless (Self-Propelled) Lawn Mower (75+ Compatible Tools), 5.0Ah

The Greenworks 40V 21" Brushless Cordless Lawn Mower is built for homeowners who want to cut their grass without the hassle of gas, oil, or engine maintenance. Powered by a 5.0Ah battery, it starts instantly, runs quietly, and produces zero emissions while delivering the cutting power needed for standard residential lawns.

A durable 21-inch steel deck houses a brushless motor engineered for efficient torque and a long working life. You get versatile grass management out of the box with 3-in-1 capability, letting you choose between rear bagging, side discharging, or mulching. Cutting height adjustments are handled by a single lever offering 7 distinct positions, while 8-inch front wheels and rear-wheel drive provide traction to move across tough backyard terrain.

When the job is done, the vertical storage design allows you to fold and store the unit upright, saving roughly 70 percent of garage or shed floor space. The included 5.0Ah battery is part of a platform compatible with over 75 other 40V tools, offering extended utility across other yard equipment.

Keep in mind that the listed runtime of up to 45 minutes is variable. Dense grass, rough terrain, and your operating pace can shorten your total cutting window on a single charge. In addition, the listing specifies the 8-inch front wheels but does not mention the exact dimensions of the rear drive wheels.

Verdict: The Greenworks 40V 21" Self-Propelled Mower is an excellent choice for homeowners seeking a quiet, clean, and space-saving yard tool. If you want hassle-free push-button starts and a sturdy steel deck with versatile 3-in-1 discharge options, this model delivers reliable everyday performance.
