Detailed Review
The MZK 40V 17-Inch Brushless Lawn Mower is a cordless walk-behind push mower engineered for small to medium yards. Powered by a 40V battery, it eliminates the hassle of dealing with gas, oil, or restrictive power cords during routine lawn care. It provides an accessible, low-maintenance option for homeowners who want a tidy yard without heavy machinery.
Equipped with a brushless motor, this mower includes dedicated Low and High speed buttons. It runs at 3300 RPM on Low and ramps up to 3700 RPM on High, giving you the flexibility to adapt to varying grass thickness while helping reduce clogging. The 17-inch cutting deck helps you cover ground efficiently with fewer passes, while a 5-position height adjustment lets you select cutting heights between 1.18 inches and 3.35 inches to match the season.
Handling and cleanup are straightforward. At only 30.8 lbs (14 kg), the mower is easy to push, turn, and carry across different sections of your yard. It comes with a 40L grass collection bag that gathers clippings to keep your turf clean and minimize frequent emptying stops. Once mowing is complete, the foldable handle collapses down to save valuable floor space in small sheds or garages.
The main limitation is battery duration. Delivering approximately 25 to 35 minutes of runtime per charge, this mower is tailored specifically for smaller properties and quick touch-ups. Those with expansive acreage may find the runtime insufficient for completing a full cut in one session.
Verdict: The MZK 40V Cordless Mower is a solid, easy-to-handle choice for small to medium yard owners. If you want a lightweight push mower with adjustable motor speeds and easy folding storage, this model offers dependable everyday cutting performance.
