Detailed Review
The Bagean Stove Vent Filter provides a direct replacement for worn or grease-laden kitchen hood filters. Designed specifically for over-the-range Broan and Nutone setups, it blocks grease from entering the internal hood components. This helps maintain proper kitchen ventilation and ensures the range hood continues to operate properly.
Constructed from shiny aluminum metal mesh arranged in a symmetrical pattern, this grease filter is built thicker than standard mesh inserts to catch more airborne grease. The perimeter frame is reinforced to resist bending out of shape during regular handling, removal, and cleaning cycles.
Maintenance is straightforward since the unit is dishwasher safe. For deeper manual cleaning, the manufacturer suggests soaking the filter in hot water with baking soda and soap for 10 minutes before scrubbing and rinsing it clean.
Because range hoods come in a wide variety of dimensions, this filter is strictly limited to units requiring an 11.6 by 11.2 inch (11 3/5 by 11 1/5 inch) size. Buyers must verify their current hood part numbers or exact opening measurements prior to installation.
Verdict: This filter is a solid, straightforward replacement for homeowners needing a durable aluminum grease screen for compatible Broan or Nutone range hoods. If your hood uses the BPQTAF or S99010316 part size, it provides a sturdy, washable solution.
