Detailed Review
The Bagean Stove Vent Filter is a direct replacement part designed for non-ducted kitchen exhaust systems. Measuring 8-3/4 inches by 10-1/2 inches, it serves homeowners needing to replace worn-out Broan or NuTone Allure filters to keep their kitchen air moving properly.
This unit combines a protective mesh frame with an activated charcoal layer. The mesh captures grease particles before they enter your over-range hood, while the natural charcoal absorbs food odors generated during everyday cooking. This dual-action design keeps air clearer even in kitchens with non-vented exhaust hoods.
Physical installation requires minimal effort. The filter uses a slide-in mechanism that lets you remove the old component and slide the new one into place. It also includes an outdented design feature, which stops the unit from jamming or getting wedged inside the range hood housing during use and replacement.
As a specific replacement component, compatibility is limited to systems matching the 8-3/4 inch by 10-1/2 inch dimensions or the 41F, 97007696, and S97007696 part numbers. The product information does not specify if the item comes as a single unit or multi-pack, nor does it list routine cleaning instructions.
Verdict: This filter is a dependable, practical choice for anyone maintaining a Broan or NuTone Allure non-ducted range hood. It handles both grease buildup and cooking aromas while offering a jam-free fit.
