Detailed Review
The Bagean Stove Vent Filter is a direct replacement unit designed for ductless over-range hoods that need regular maintenance. Built to capture airborne grease and neutralize food smells, it helps keep kitchen air cleaner and prevents grease buildup inside your exhaust fan setup.
This replacement combines a protective mesh layer with an activated charcoal pad. The mesh blocks grease from entering the hood internals, while the charcoal layer naturally absorbs cooking odors before air is recirculated. This dual-action design makes it particularly useful for non-ducted range hoods that rely entirely on internal filtration to maintain fresh kitchen air.
Installation is straightforward and requires no extra hardware. The filter includes an outdented edge designed to stop the frame from getting stuck inside the housing, allowing you to slide out the old piece and insert the new one quickly. It is sized at 8 3/4 inches by 10 1/2 inches to serve as an exact match for standard Broan and NuTone Allure systems.
Because dimensions on range hoods vary widely, this filter will not work in housings that require different measurements. The listing also does not state how many filters come in the package or specify care instructions, so buyers should verify their original part numbers prior to purchasing.
Verdict: The Bagean Stove Vent Filter is a practical, easy-to-install solution for owners of compatible Broan and NuTone non-ducted hoods. If your kitchen setup uses part number 97007696 or 41F, this dual grease-and-charcoal insert provides a hassle-free way to restore odor and grease control.
