Detailed Review
The Bagean Stove Hood Vent Filter is an aluminum replacement filter designed to keep your kitchen exhaust system running clear. Over time, cooking grease coats exhaust vents and reduces airflow. This filter fits into compatible over-range hoods to trap airborne oil particles before they can enter the internal vent housing.
Built from aluminum, the filter features a reinforced outer frame engineered to resist bending out of shape under constant use. Its multi-layer construction is enhanced to be thicker than standard options, providing extra surface area to catch grease and help maintain proper kitchen ventilation.
Maintenance is simple because the aluminum filter is fully washable. You can run it through a standard dishwasher cycle for quick cleaning, or hand wash it by soaking in hot water with soap and baking soda for 10 minutes before scrubbing and rinsing.
Before purchasing, double-check your current hood measurements and model numbers carefully. The product details list compatibility with Broan Allure, NuTone BPS1FA36, and Kenmore hoods, but cite both 11.81 by 17.32 inches and 11-1/4 by 8-1/4 inches in the specifications.
Verdict: The Bagean vent filter is a solid, easy-to-clean replacement for compatible Broan, NuTone, and Kenmore range hoods. It is an ideal pick if you need a durable, reinforced aluminum grease filter that can be washed in the dishwasher.
