Detailed Review
This 16-inch cordless chainsaw provides the cutting capability of a 40CC gas engine using a 56V battery platform. It is built for homeowners and yard care enthusiasts who want substantial cutting power without dealing with gas mixtures or engine maintenance.
Performance is driven by a 20m/s chain speed paired with a 16-inch bar and chain. Using the included 56V 2.5Ah ARC Lithium battery, it can complete up to 130 cuts on 4x4 lumber. Built-in conveniences like automatic oiling and a spill-free reservoir simplify routine operation, while the tool-free tensioning system lets you adjust the chain directly in the field.
Safety and outdoor durability are central to the design. The saw features an IPX4-rated weather-resistant build alongside a low kickback chain setup with a dedicated brake indicator. The chain itself uses a 3/8-inch pitch, .043-inch gauge, and 52 drive links for consistent operation.
While the battery system eliminates gas handling, projects that require more than 130 cuts on 4x4 lumber will need extra charging downtime or spare batteries. The manufacturer also does not specify total tool weight, which is an important detail for buyers sensitive to equipment heft.
Verdict: This cordless chainsaw is a reliable choice for anyone tackling regular yard clearing and firewood prep. It delivers gas-equivalent 40CC cutting output with the convenience of simple tool-free adjustments and electric startup.
