Detailed Review
The POOL BLASTER CX-1 is a cordless robotic pool vacuum designed to automate pool maintenance for pool owners who want to avoid tangled cords. Powered by an internal lithium battery, it cleans without being tethered to an outlet or pool pump.
You can customize how often the robot operates using its built-in smart intelligence. It supports programmable cleaning cycles at daily or weekly intervals. On a single charge, the unit can run continuously for up to 4 hours, or you can set it to run for up to 30 minutes each day across a 7-day period.
Debris management relies on high capacity filter bags capable of capturing both large and small debris, including fine sand, silt, and dirt. When the cleaning cycle finishes, you retrieve the cleaner by attaching the included hook to any standard pool pole and snagging the unit by its handle, avoiding the need to pull on cables.
One trade-off to consider is the charging turnaround. The lithium battery requires 6 to 8 hours to reach a full recharge. Additionally, retrieving the robot from the water requires having a standard pool pole on hand to use with the retrieval hook.
Verdict: The POOL BLASTER CX-1 is a dependable choice for pool owners looking for scheduled, hands-off cleaning without cords. Its flexible runtime modes and fine-debris filtration make it practical for routine maintenance.
