Detailed Review
The EAMPANG Keyboard Case turns your compact tablet into a portable typing setup, combining a protective cover with a wireless input solution. Designed specifically for the iPad mini 6th and 7th generations, this accessory provides 360-degree protection while adding laptop-like functionality for writing documents, editing spreadsheets, or browsing.
Daily usability is centered around flexible viewing and typing options. The case features three anti-slip grooves that hold your screen securely at 100, 110, or 120 degrees, making it easy to find a comfortable angle for reading, drawing, or watching media. When you do not need the keyboard, you can detach it entirely to reduce bulk. The keys feature an RGB rainbow backlight with seven selectable colors and an automatic breathing mode, which keeps the layout visible when working in dim lighting. Dedicated shortcut keys let you quickly navigate apps and adjust functions without tapping the screen.
The build blends a soft PU leather exterior with a flexible TPU inner shell to protect against scratches and drops. Inside, the honeycomb pattern aids heat dissipation to keep your device operating smoothly during long tasks. A built-in pen slot holds your capacitive stylus securely in place so it stays attached during transport. Power management is handled by an internal rechargeable battery that charges in 2 to 3 hours, offering up to 50 hours of continuous typing without backlighting and up to 90 days of standby life with an auto-sleep mode.
Keep in mind that this case is precisely molded only for specific iPad mini models and will not fit larger or older tablets. Additionally, the maximum 50-hour battery life applies only when the backlights are turned off, so frequent RGB lighting use will require more regular recharging. The package also does not include a tablet or stylus.
Verdict: This case is a solid pick for iPad mini 6 and 7 owners who want a versatile, backlit typing setup with reliable protection. It works best for students and mobile professionals needing a compact workstation on the go.
