Detailed Review
The Macally Bluetooth Keyboard is a compact wireless typing solution designed for mobile setups with tablets, smartphones, and computers. It solves the frustration of juggling multiple standalone stands by integrating a dedicated cradle directly into the frame, making it ideal for mobile productivity.
A built-in 10.5-inch slot holds your smartphone or tablet upright while you type, keeping your screen at a readable angle without extra gear. The keyboard connects wirelessly and allows you to switch between 3 paired devices, which works well if you alternate between an iPad, phone, or computer.
For daily typing and navigation, the 78-key arrangement includes 13 shortcut keys and LED status indicators to streamline routine commands. It runs on an internal 280mAh rechargeable battery, allowing you to pack it into a bag for travel without worrying about loose batteries.
Keep in mind that the integrated slot measures 10.5 inches, so larger oversized tablets will not fit inside the cradle. The 78-key design also omits a dedicated number pad to preserve its portable footprint.
Verdict: This keyboard is a practical choice for anyone wanting a portable, rechargeable typing setup that can manage three devices and hold a tablet upright in one compact unit.
