5x7 Area Rug Living Room: Modern Washable Indoor Carpet Black

The FXRHLP 5x7 Area Rug brings a modern abstract pattern to busy indoor spaces, making it a functional floor covering for living rooms, bedrooms, home offices, and dining areas. Designed with an ultra-thin 0.32-inch profile, this carpet solves the challenge of keeping high-traffic floors clean while providing a soft surface that shields bare feet from cold hard flooring.

Everyday upkeep is straightforward thanks to the lightweight polyester construction and low-pile design. Because the fibers are densely woven, everyday dirt stays near the surface where it can be swept with a carpet brush or wiped clean. When liquid spills occur, the water does not immediately soak in, allowing you time to wipe it off. For a deeper refresh, the entire rug can be placed directly into a home washing machine.

Safety and durability are reinforced through thoughtful construction details. The underside features a soft TPE rubber backing that adheres to the floor to minimize slipping, which is particularly beneficial in homes with young children or elderly family members. Additionally, the machine-woven construction includes reinforced lock edges to prevent shedding and protect the rug from wear around the borders.

There are a few design nuances to keep in mind before placing your order. The rug ships folded, meaning it will arrive with temporary creases that take a few days to settle out naturally, though an iron can be used to flatten them right away. The pile also exhibits a slight light and dark variation depending on the angle you view it from, and screen displays may show minor color differences compared to the actual item.

Verdict: The FXRHLP 5x7 Area Rug is a practical, stylish floor covering tailored for pet owners and busy households seeking machine-washable convenience. If you need a low-profile, non-slip accent rug that is easy to wipe down and maintain, it is an excellent addition to your living space.
