Detailed Review
The Hargiis Non Slip Bathtub Mat offers a practical footing solution for slick shower floors and tubs. Made from BPA-free PVC with a dedicated plaid backing, it is designed to minimize slip risks for vulnerable family members, including the elderly and household pets. It works well across multiple environments, from home bathrooms and laundry rooms to commercial settings like nursing homes, schools, and nurseries.
Standing at 0.4 inches thick, the mat provides noticeable cushioning underfoot. The surface features a loofah-like texture that provides a gentle foot massage while helping scrape away dead skin from heels during a shower. Water buildup is handled by hundreds of small drain holes spread across the surface, allowing water and soap foam to flow freely through the material without getting trapped.
Day-to-day maintenance is straightforward because soapy residue can be rinsed away with a shower spray. For deeper refreshes, the entire mat can be put in a washing machine. The material dries quickly after use and is engineered so it will not leave behind marks on your tub or floor surfaces.
At 24 by 16 inches, the mat fits standard bathtubs out of the box. While this standard rectangular shape works for many showers, larger walk-in stalls may require multiple mats. However, you can trim the PVC material with household scissors if you need a specific shape to work around corners or tight drain placements.
Verdict: This Hargiis bath mat is a great option for anyone wanting extra footing security and a gentle exfoliating texture in the shower. Its trimmable material, rapid drainage, and machine-washable care make it a versatile pick for wet floors throughout the home.
