Detailed Review
The EGO Power+ 52-inch Electric Riding Lawn Mower delivers battery-powered cutting for large residential properties. It replaces traditional gas power with an electric platform that produces the equivalent of a 25 horsepower engine, giving homeowners a clean alternative for heavy-duty yard maintenance.
Equipped with Peak Power plus Technology, the mower utilizes up to six 56V ARC Lithium batteries simultaneously. The package includes six 12.0Ah battery packs, enabling you to cut up to 4 acres on a single charge. Because it operates on the standard 56V ARC Lithium platform, the power source remains compatible with other tools in the same brand family.
Mowing efficiency comes from the wide 52-inch cutting deck paired with a zero-turn radius for maneuvering around obstacles. The mower also features adjustable travel speeds ranging from 4 to 8 MPH, allowing you to move quickly across open stretches or slow down for precise navigation.
Trade-offs center around its size and power configuration. Managing and charging six high-capacity battery packs requires dedicated space and attention. Additionally, the listing does not state specific details regarding cutting height increments, seat adjustments, or included charging accessories.
Verdict: This zero-turn rider is well suited for homeowners managing multi-acre lawns who want the strength of a 25 HP gas engine on a battery platform. It provides broad cutting coverage and flexible speed control for expansive properties.
