CMF BY Nothing Headphone Pro Active Noise Canceling Wireless Headphones Bluetooth 5.4 Over The Ear Headset, 50H ANC Playtime, Bass&Treble Slider, Custom EQ&Spatial Audio, Hi-Res LDAC, Dark Grey

Commuters and remote workers needing reliable background quiet will appreciate the CMF by Nothing Headphone Pro, an active noise canceling wireless headphones model built around long playback sessions. It combines custom 40mm dynamic drivers with high-resolution wireless support to deliver detailed playback whether you are listening to complex musical tracks, podcasts, or work calls. By addressing both environmental noise and playback endurance in one build, it targets shoppers who want continuous listening without frequent interruptions to recharge.

For dealing with ambient distractions, this over-ear headset provides up to 40 dB of Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation. This feature actively dampens surrounding sounds during travel or focus sessions, allowing you to stay focused on your audio. When you need to hear announcements, cross traffic, or speak with someone nearby, you do not need to take the headset off; a simple press of the ANC button switches the headset immediately into Transparency Mode to let external sound filter through.

Audio performance relies on modern wireless technology, utilizing Bluetooth 5.4 alongside LDAC encoding and Dual Hi-Res certification. For physical hardware, customized 40mm dynamic drivers handle playback across frequencies. Listeners who enjoy shaping their sound can use the Nothing X app to access a Personal Sound Profile, CMF Spatial Audio, and adjustable bass and treble sliders. These controls let you tailor your acoustic output for music tracks or a movie-style cinema feel right from your connected device.

Physical comfort and broad compatibility round out daily usability. The headset features soft memory foam earpads paired with a cap-friendly headband design intended for extended listening wear. Pairing is streamlined across platforms, offering built-in Google Fast Pair for Android and Microsoft Swift Pair for Windows machines, alongside general Bluetooth and wired AUX connection support for iOS, macOS, and streaming devices. Furthermore, the internal battery provides up to 50 hours of non-stop playtime with ANC turned on, handling days of use before needing power.

While the full over-ear footprint provides passive isolation and holds large acoustic drivers, this style takes up noticeably more room in a backpack than small in-ear wireless buds. Additionally, while the headset operates out of the box with standard controls, reaching deeper features like the custom equalizer sliders and spatial audio requires keeping a companion smartphone app installed.

Verdict: The CMF by Nothing Headphone Pro is a capable choice for frequent travelers, students, and office workers seeking strong 40 dB active noise cancellation coupled with an impressive 50-hour ANC battery reserve. If you want high-resolution wireless playback with extensive app-based sound tuning in an over-ear design, this active noise canceling wireless headphones headset is well worth adding to your setup.

A great fit if you:

• Travel often and want up to 50 hours of continuous wireless playback without turning off active noise cancellation.

• Need fast wireless pairing across multiple platforms including Android, Windows, iOS, and macOS devices.

Consider something else if you:

• Prefer ultra-pocketable pocket audio gear and would be better served by a pair of compact true wireless earbuds.
• Want simple basic listening without managing a companion mobile application to access advanced sound personalization features.

Confirm on the listing:

• Check whether a 3.5mm AUX audio cable is included in the package if you plan to listen via a wired connection.
• Verify if a protective travel case or soft storage pouch comes inside the retail box for transport.
• Confirm the type of charging cable provided in the box to ensure it matches your current power adapters.
• Check the specific operating system versions required to install and run the Nothing X mobile application smoothly.

How to compare your options: Focus on acoustic driver size, supported wireless codecs, and battery endurance when evaluating over-ear audio gear. This model includes 40mm drivers and LDAC support alongside up to 50 hours of ANC-enabled listening. Compare these traits against your preferred connection type, noting that this model supports both modern Bluetooth 5.4 wireless connections and traditional AUX wired audio inputs.

Install the Nothing X app on your mobile device right after unboxing. Use the application to establish your Personal Sound Profile, toggle CMF Spatial Audio for media watching, and adjust the treble and bass sliders to match your favorite music genres.

Take advantage of fast pairing features when connecting to your hardware. If you are pairing with an Android phone, use Google Fast Pair, or utilize Microsoft Swift Pair if you are setting up on a compatible Windows PC. When connecting to non-Bluetooth equipment, plug in through the AUX port.

Familiarize yourself with the dedicated ANC button on the ear cup. A quick press toggles between 40 dB noise cancellation and Transparency Mode, letting you quickly hear voices or announcements without lifting the earcups from your head.

Wipe down the memory foam earpads and headband periodically with a soft, clean cloth to remove dust and skin oils, keeping the materials fresh throughout extended daily use.
