Bose QuietComfort Headphones - Wireless Bluetooth Headphones, Active Over Ear Noise Cancelling and Mic, USB-C Charging, Deep Bass, Up to 24 Hours of Playtime, White Smoke

Noise-isolating over ear headphones give listeners an effective way to block out everyday distractions, whether working in busy offices or relaxing at home. The Bose QuietComfort headphones build on this foundation by pairing active cancellation technology with passive physical seals to quiet background sound. Listeners who value physical ease during lengthy workdays will appreciate the plush over-ear cushions that hug the ears alongside a padded headband designed to secure the set comfortably in place.

Sound control is central to the design. Two primary listening settings, Quiet Mode and Aware Mode, allow you to decide how much of the outside world comes through. Quiet Mode delivers full isolation when you need absolute concentration, while Aware Mode reintroduces ambient sound so you can remain aware of your environment without removing the headset. For personal audio taste, an adjustable EQ lets you fine-tune the high-fidelity sound profile by tweaking the treble, mid-range, and bass frequencies directly.

Battery performance keeps pace with full days of activity, offering up to 24 hours of wireless playtime on a single charge. If you find yourself running low on power, a quick 15-minute recharge over USB-C restores up to 2.5 hours of playback. The design also avoids leaving you stranded: an included audio cable with an integrated in-line microphone plugs directly into the earcups, letting you continue listening or taking calls without any Bluetooth connection or even after the internal battery has completely drained.

Everyday connectivity is streamlined through multi-point Bluetooth pairing. This feature keeps the headphones linked to multiple devices at once, allowing you to switch between a laptop and a phone without the hassle of unpairing and re-pairing each time. Keeping the system updated is handled through the dedicated Bose app, which provides firmware updates and access to new feature releases over time.

As an over-ear model built for coverage, this design carries more physical bulk than compact in-ear alternatives and limits ambient settings to two distinct choices rather than an open slider. Verdict: These over-ear headphones are an excellent match for commuters, remote workers, and music lovers who need dependable active quiet, long battery life, and comfortable all-day wear. Those seeking minimal pocket-sized gear or ultra-granular environmental controls may want to explore other styles.

A great fit if you:

• Need active noise cancellation to block out distractions while working in shared environments or traveling.
• Wear headphones for hours at a time and need plush ear cushions with a padded headband.
• Work across several devices and want seamless multi-point Bluetooth switching between your phone and computer.
• Want the reliability of a wired audio cable with an in-line microphone for unpowered, continuous listening.

Consider something else if you:

• Prefer pocket-friendly portable audio and would be better served by a pair of compact wireless earbuds.
• Need water-resistant audio gear designed specifically for vigorous workouts or outdoor exercise.

Confirm on the listing:

• Check whether your source devices have a standard 3.5mm jack if you plan to use the wired backup cable.
• Confirm that your mobile device supports the Bose app to ensure you can receive regular software updates.
• Check the included package contents to confirm which charging cords and audio cables come in the box.
• Verify that the White Smoke color finish matches the personal aesthetic you want.

How to compare your options: Focus on battery endurance, ambient listening modes, and wired backup capabilities when weighing over-ear options. These headphones offer up to 24 hours of wireless runtime, fast USB-C recharging, and passive wired operation, which sets a high baseline for continuous daily utility. Compare whether competing options require active battery power to pass wired sound, and ensure the companion software provides the adjustable EQ controls you need for your preferred music genres.

Start by downloading the companion Bose app to your smartphone or tablet right after unboxing. Installing the application ensures that you receive the latest software updates and gives you access to full functionality, including the custom treble, mid-range, and bass EQ adjustments.

Set up multi-point Bluetooth pairing right away with your everyday gear. Pairing both your primary computer and your phone allows the headset to switch audio sources smoothly without manual disconnects.

Keep the included audio cable in your everyday bag or desk drawer. Having the in-line microphone cable readily accessible ensures that you can continue taking calls or listening to media even when you do not have time for a USB-C recharge or when Bluetooth is unavailable.
