Detailed Review
The NicBex Wooden Side Table with Chess Board doubles as an everyday accent table and a dedicated home gaming station. Built with a turned pedestal base, it brings functional entertainment to living rooms, offices, and sofa sides without needing separate board game storage boxes taking up space.
The standout feature is its dual-sided, reversible top surface that accommodates three classic tabletop games: chess, checkers, and backgammon. When game night is over, the built-in storage drawers let you tuck away pieces, accessories, and everyday clutter to keep your living room organized.
Constructed from a blend of wood and MDF, the frame is designed for steady daily use. In terms of capacity, the table supports up to 40 lbs on the top surface, while the 13-inch long by 11-inch wide by 4-inch high drawer interior can hold up to 20 lbs of small items.
When planning your space, keep in mind the 40 lbs tabletop weight limit, which means it is intended for lightweight decor and casual game nights rather than holding heavy equipment. The provided details also focus on the table construction itself without detailing whether physical game pieces are supplied.
Verdict: The NicBex Game Side Table is an ideal accent piece for households that want classic board games ready at a moment notice. Its combined storage, multi-game surface, and pedestal styling make it a practical fit for compact living spaces.
