Detailed Review
The OILP Extra Large Cigar Ashtray with Lid is designed for outdoor and indoor settings where wind, weather, and ash control are common concerns. Featuring a deep basin and an integrated lid, it serves both solo smokers and small groups gathering on patios, balconies, or living areas.
The primary advantage of this model is its protective cover. When closed, the lid keeps out rain and prevents wind from scattering ash across your table, while also helping contain lingering odors. It features four dedicated 1.3-inch wide cigar rests designed to support large ring gauge cigars stably so they do not roll off during use.
Maintenance is simplified by the large storage capacity and a deep bowl that cuts down on frequent emptying. Inside, the smooth surface lets you wipe it down quickly after each session. When the black lid is shut, the unit blends into surrounding decor and can function as general desktop storage in offices, bars, or home settings.
While the design is practical for gatherings, the product listing does not specify the exact build material or full exterior measurements beyond the 1.3-inch rest widths. Buyers looking for precise dimensions or specific metal or ceramic finishes will need to keep this absence of information in mind.
Verdict: This large ashtray is a solid choice for anyone seeking a windproof, multi-rest option for patios and social spaces. Its deep bowl and odor-containing lid make it well suited for outdoor gatherings and everyday home use.
