Detailed Review
The TECKNET Vertical Wireless Mouse is designed for computer users seeking a more comfortable grip during long workdays. By keeping your hand in an upright handshake posture, it positions your arm and wrist naturally to reduce strain. It features an eye-catching purple-to-green gradient finish with a fingerprint-resistant coating that helps your workspace look tidy throughout the day.
Setup is simple using the included 2.4GHz USB-A receiver, which delivers a dependable wireless connection across a 49-foot range. Tracking is versatile with five selectable DPI modes (800, 1600, 2400, 3200, and 4800), allowing you to adjust cursor speed to your screen size or task. Built for quiet office environments, the main buttons are over 90 percent quieter than standard clicks, and the switches are rated for 3 million clicks on almost any desk surface.
Power comes from two AAA batteries, which last up to six months thanks to an automatic sleep mode that triggers after eight minutes of inactivity. When the battery runs low, an integrated side LED flashes red so you know it is time to replace them. The same indicator flashes to confirm your current sensitivity whenever you change DPI levels.
Shoppers should note a few platform limitations. While the mouse works across Windows and MacOS X 10.4 or later, the two side navigation buttons do not function on Mac systems. Additionally, because the receiver uses standard USB-A, Mac users with only USB-C ports will need their own adapter. The vertical design also suggests a 1 to 2 week adjustment period if you are transitioning from a traditional flat mouse.
Verdict: The TECKNET Ergonomic Mouse is a solid, budget-friendly choice for Windows users and office workers wanting a quiet, strain-relieving vertical mouse. It delivers responsive tracking and long battery life for anyone ready to switch to an upright grip.
