Detailed Review
The SONORO KATE 4-Piece Sheet Set is built for sleepers who need a secure fit on extra-thick mattresses while wanting a smooth, breathable bedding surface. Made from 100% viscose derived from bamboo, this queen set provides a silky, soft alternative to standard cotton bedding. It includes a 90x102-inch flat sheet, a 60x80-inch fitted sheet, and two 20x30-inch pillowcases.
Temperature regulation is a primary benefit of this bamboo-derived fabric. The material wicks moisture away 3 to 4 times faster than cotton, helping hot sleepers stay cool during warm summer nights while retaining comfortable warmth in the winter. The silky-smooth texture feels gentle against the skin, allowing for restful all-season use.
The standout design feature is the extra deep pocket construction on the fitted sheet. Built with a full 360-degree elastic band, it fits mattresses measuring between 18 and 24 inches deep. This makes it compatible with bulky double pillow-top mattresses, memory foam layers, mattress toppers, and tall air mattresses that typically cause standard sheets to pop off at the corners.
Upkeep is simple since the fabric is naturally resistant to fading, stains, and wrinkles. It can be machine washed in cold water and dried on a low heat setting without needing an iron. However, following the low-temperature drying instructions is essential to maintain the material, and buyers with standard shallow mattresses may find the extra fabric loose if their mattress is under 18 inches thick.
Verdict: The SONORO KATE sheet set is an ideal choice for anyone with a thick pillow-top or topped queen mattress who struggles with sheets slipping off. Its cooling, moisture-wicking bamboo-derived fabric delivers reliable, year-round comfort with minimal maintenance.
