Detailed Review
The Mellanni Extra Deep King Sheet Set is a four-piece bedding bundle tailored for tall mattresses, memory foam toppers, and air beds. The set includes a flat sheet, two pillowcases, and an extra-deep fitted sheet with full perimeter elastic designed to fit mattresses up to 21 inches deep without snapping off at the corners.
Crafted from double-brushed microfiber, the fabric focuses on lightweight breathability and year-round temperature regulation. The thin construction promotes continuous airflow to keep you cool during warmer nights while providing cozy insulation in winter. In daily use, the material wicks away moisture and dries quickly after laundry cycles, making it practical for busy households with children or pets.
Maintenance is straightforward, requiring only a cold machine wash and low-heat tumble dry. The fibers are engineered to hold up against frequent washing by resisting wrinkles, stains, pilling, fading, and shrinkage. Additionally, the entire set is OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified (22.HUS.40891, Hohenstein), meaning the textile has been tested for more than 1,000 harmful substances.
Keep in mind that these sheets are intentionally made with an ultra-light, thin profile, which might feel different for sleepers who prefer the crisp, weighty structure of heavy cotton weaves. The set is also strictly synthetic microfiber, so it will not suit shoppers who only purchase organic natural fibers.
Verdict: The Mellanni Extra Deep King Sheet Set is an excellent choice for anyone struggling to cover thick mattresses or toppers with standard bedding. Its soft feel, low-maintenance wash routine, and safety certification make it a dependable option for everyday master and guest bedrooms.
