Detailed Review
The Southshore Fine Linens 6-Piece King Sheet Set is designed for deep mattresses and tall bedding setups that standard sheets fail to cover. It includes an extra deep fitted sheet, an oversized flat sheet, and four matching pillowcases in a natural beige tone, making it a complete bedding refresh for king size beds with bulky profiles or added toppers.
The centerpiece of this set is the 21-inch extra deep fitted sheet, which features a strong, full-perimeter elastic band. This construction prevents the corners from popping off thick mattresses. Crafted from 110 GSM double-brushed microfiber, the fabric provides a soft, lightweight, and breathable surface for sleeping.
Day-to-day maintenance is straightforward since the material is machine washable and safe for the tumble dryer. The fabric is fade resistant and releases pet hair easily to cut down on buildup between laundry cycles. It also carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, confirming it has been tested against more than 1,000 harmful substances.
Because the fitted sheet is specifically built with a 21-inch depth, it may have excess slack if used on very slim, low-profile mattresses without a topper. The set is also constructed entirely from 100% microfiber rather than natural fibers like cotton or linen, which is an important trade-off for shoppers who prefer plant-based textiles.
Verdict: This set is an excellent choice for households with thick king mattresses, mattress toppers, or shedding pets. If you need a fully coordinated six-piece bedding package that will not slip off tall corners, this deep-pocket set provides a secure and reliable fit.
