Detailed Review
The HyperX Cloud III is a wired gaming headset designed for multi-platform players on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. It focuses on core essentials like wearability, voice clarity, and durability, making it a dependable pick for long gaming sessions where uncomfortable gear could break your focus.
Audio is powered by angled 53mm drivers tuned specifically by audio engineers to accent dynamic gaming sounds. For team communication and voice calls, the upgraded noise-cancelling microphone integrates an internal mesh filter to reduce disruptive noises. A built-in LED indicator also provides a quick visual cue so you know immediately whether your mic is muted.
To withstand everyday wear and travel, the headset features a flexible aluminum frame. This sturdy build helps it survive accidental drops, knocks, and the physical stresses that often come with intense gaming sessions.
As a wired headset, it requires a physical connection to your device, which tethered users may find limiting compared to wireless setups. Additionally, the manufacturer does not specify the exact cable length, total weight, or whether the microphone is fully detachable.
