Amazon Basics 9-Inch Magnetic Torpedo Level and Ruler, Easy to Use, 180/90/45

The Amazon Basics 9-Inch Magnetic Torpedo Level provides a compact solution for quick alignment tasks around the home and workshop. Designed for straightforward leveling, it combines three spirit vials and a dual-scale ruler to help with decorating, arranging furniture, and hanging wall items.

For measuring and alignment, the tool features three dedicated vials set for horizontal, vertical, and 45-degree checks with a stated accuracy of 1.0mm/m. Each vial is made from clear acrylic with smooth inner contours and filled with bright fluorescent liquid for easy reading. The built-in ruler along the edge includes both imperial and metric scales, allowing you to measure hanger spacing or nail locations without switching tools.

The frame is constructed from lightweight ABS and aluminum, protected by a TPR coating for added durability. A magnetic edge allows the level to attach directly to steel surfaces for hands-free work. When you are done, a built-in hole makes it easy to hang up or carry between rooms.

Because it measures 9 inches in length, this tool is suited for localized tasks rather than spanning long distances across large construction surfaces. The magnetic functionality is also limited to steel surfaces and will not grip non-ferrous materials.

Verdict: This torpedo level is a practical, user-friendly choice for anyone needing a reliable tool for hanging frames, aligning decor, and general home maintenance. It balances durability and convenient features for everyday household projects.
