Detailed Review
The Shuttle Art Acrylic Paint Set delivers a versatile creative toolkit with 30 assorted colors in 12 ml (0.4 oz) tubes, complete with three included paint brushes. Designed for beginners, students, teens, and experienced artists alike, this kit provides a wide color selection for home decor, art classes, and everyday hobby crafting.
A major highlight of this set is the thick pigment formulation. Thin acrylics can look watery and require multiple layers, but these paints are designed with rich pigments to deliver solid coverage and a smooth, creamy lay down. Once applied, the paint dries very quickly to create a durable, permanent, waterproof, and fade-resistant finish across your projects.
Versatility is another strong point, as the paint adheres well to a broad range of materials. You can use it on standard stretched canvas, wood crafts, ceramics, clay, fabric, interior walls, and even nails. In addition, the formula conforms to ASTM-D4236 safety standards, confirming that it is non-toxic and acid-free for relaxed crafting sessions with kids or adults.
When it comes to limitations, the 12 ml tube size is relatively compact. While plenty for small craft items, detailing, or testing color palettes, a single tube may run out quickly if you are covering large canvases or painting broad wall murals. The product information also does not specify the exact styles or sizes of the three included brushes.
Verdict: This 30-piece paint set is a practical and accessible choice for anyone needing a diverse palette of rich, quick-drying acrylics for multi-surface crafts. It is particularly well suited for beginners, students, and hobbyists working on small to medium-scale art projects.
