SANSUI Gaming Monitor 27 inch 1440p 200Hz 180Hz Computer Monitor

A high refresh rate PC gaming monitor balances visual clarity with responsive motion, and this display pairs a 2560 x 1440 resolution with speeds up to 200Hz on a 27-inch panel. Built with Fast IPS technology, it provides crisp detail alongside 178-degree vertical and horizontal viewing angles. The panel responds at 1ms MPRT, working alongside FreeSync Premium to minimize ghosting and tearing when frame rates shift rapidly during fast-paced play.

Visual quality relies on strong color reproduction and brightness. The screen reaches up to 400 nits of brightness with HDR capability, supported by 10-bit color depth. Color coverage is wide, rated at 95% DCI-P3 and 130% sRGB, which makes images vivid whether you are playing games or streaming media. For long sessions, integrated eye-care features include anti-flicker technology and AI low blue light settings to help ease visual fatigue.

Physical adjustment is one of the standout aspects of the included hardware. The ergonomic stand allows up to 130mm of height adjustment, -5 to 20 degrees of tilt, 25 degrees of swivel to the left or right, and full 90-degree pivot rotation in either direction. If you prefer to mount your screen to an arm or wall bracket, the back panel accommodates standard 100x100mm VESA hardware. Integrated on-screen enhancements also include specialized assists such as an AI Crosshair, an FPS Sniper Scope, and preset modes tailored for racing and RTS games.

The primary trade-off centers on interface limitations across its video ports. While you get dual DisplayPort 1.2 connections that support the maximum 200Hz refresh rate at 1440p, the two HDMI 2.0 ports top out at 144Hz. Anyone planning to connect via HDMI will need to accept that reduced ceiling. Additionally, reaching that peak 200Hz frequency requires utilizing the supplied DisplayPort cable or another cable rated to carry 2560 x 1440 at 200Hz.

Verdict: This SANSUI monitor is a capable choice for PC gamers seeking crisp 1440p resolution paired with high refresh speeds and versatile ergonomic stand adjustments. Gamers who primarily rely on HDMI inputs for maximum refresh speeds may want to look elsewhere for higher-standard HDMI ports.

A great fit if you:

• Play competitive PC titles that benefit from a fluid 180Hz or 200Hz refresh rate paired with 1ms MPRT responsiveness.
• Want an adjustable desk setup with full stand flexibility including vertical height travel, swivel, tilt, and vertical 90-degree pivot.
• Appreciate rich image fidelity with 1440p resolution, wide 95% DCI-P3 color reproduction, and 400 nits brightness.
• Intend to use built-in tactical gaming features like the AI crosshair or dedicated racing and RTS display modes.

Consider something else if you:

• Need your display to reach refresh rates above 144Hz exclusively over HDMI connections, which requires a display equipped with newer HDMI standards.
• Prefer an ultrawide or curved monitor form factor rather than a flat 27-inch widescreen display.

Confirm on the listing:

• Check whether your computer's graphics card features an open DisplayPort 1.2 output to achieve the full 200Hz refresh rate.
• Measure your desk space to ensure it accommodates a 27-inch panel with an adjustable stand reaching up to 130mm in height.
• Verify that any third-party mounting arm you plan to use matches the 100x100mm VESA pattern on the rear panel.
• Check that your audio setup works with a 3.5mm earphone jack if you plan to route sound through the monitor.

How to compare your options: When choosing a gaming display, the core considerations are resolution, panel speed, and physical flexibility. This monitor combines 1440p resolution on a Fast IPS panel with a 200Hz ceiling, outperforming standard 60Hz or basic 144Hz alternatives. Compare port specifications carefully, as this model reserves its top refresh rate for DisplayPort while keeping HDMI connections at 144Hz.

• Use the included DisplayPort cable or verify your replacement cable supports 2560 x 1440 at 200Hz to prevent picture quality drops or refresh rate throttling.
• Enable FreeSync Premium in your graphics control panel and monitor settings to maintain smooth frame synchronization during gaming.
• Adjust the stand's 130mm height range and tilt between -5 and 20 degrees to align the screen directly at eye level for comfortable posture.
• Turn on the AI low blue light and anti-flicker modes when working or gaming for extended periods to reduce eye strain.
• Consult the user manual for routine maintenance instructions and clean the screen surface only as recommended by the manufacturer.
