MLILY Short Queen RV Mattress in a Box, 8 inch Mattresses for RVs, Campers & Trailers, Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress for Cool Sleep & Pressure Relief, Medium, 60" x 75"

The MLILY 8 Inch Short Queen RV Mattress is designed to replace factory-installed bedding in campers, trailers, and recreational vehicles. Measuring 60 inches wide by 75 inches long, this compressed mattress in a box targets sleeper comfort in space-constrained mobile quarters. It provides a balanced sleeping surface for travelers who want memory foam cushioning without sacrificing floor space or overhead clearance inside their vehicle.

Built with a medium feel rated around 5 out of 10 on the firmness scale, this mattress offers a slightly softer sleep surface with gentle contouring. The green tea memory foam cradles sensitive pressure points like the shoulders and hips while maintaining steady support to keep the spine aligned. To address temperature build-up common in small sleeping areas, the memory foam is infused with a cooling gel that actively dissipates heat while preserving body-conforming relief.

Safety and material quality are central to the design. All foam layers are CertiPUR-US certified and manufactured without ozone depleters, meeting safety standards for textile articles across all production stages. This process ensures minimal off-gassing or new mattress smell when unboxed inside a home or camper. For fire protection, the mattress features an inner flame-retardant cover made of rib fabric (92 percent cotton and 8 percent polyester) that is completely free from fiberglass and chemical flame retardants, avoiding skin and respiratory irritation. Additionally, global production includes both U.S. and overseas facilities, with more than 90 percent of mattress orders fulfilled by U.S. factories.

There are a few limitations inherent to this design. At 8 inches thick and 75 inches long, it is noticeably thinner and shorter than a standard home queen mattress, so standard residential fitted sheets may fit loosely. Furthermore, the product details do not mention whether the outer cover is removable or machine washable, so spot cleaning may be required.

Verdict: The MLILY 8 Inch Short Queen RV Mattress is a practical upgrade for camper and trailer owners seeking gel-cooling comfort and certified fiberglass-free materials. Its medium feel offers solid pressure relief for side and back sleepers within a compact camper footprint.

A great fit if you:

• Need a 60 by 75 inch Short Queen mattress specifically built to fit the dimensions of an RV, camper, or trailer bed platform.
• Prefer a medium sleeping surface rated around 5 out of 10 that cushions pressure points at the shoulders and hips.
• Want cooling gel memory foam and a fiberglass-free flame-retardant cover made of cotton and polyester rib fabric.

Consider something else if you:

• Require a full-length 80-inch queen mattress for a standard residential bed frame.
• Prefer a firm mattress profile or a thickness greater than 8 inches for heavy support.

Confirm on the listing:

• Measure your RV or camper bed base to confirm it accommodates a 60 by 75 inch Short Queen mattress.
• Check vertical clearance around cabinets, bunks, or overhead storage to verify an 8-inch mattress height fits comfortably.
• Review the listing details regarding compatible Short Queen fitted sheets and bedding accessories.

How to compare your options: When evaluating camper mattresses, focus on exact dimensions, firmness rating, and safety certifications. Short Queen dimensions differ from standard home queen sizes, making precise 60 by 75 inch measurements critical for mobile platforms. If indoor air quality or fire safety is a priority, verify that the foam is CertiPUR-US certified and that the flame retardant barrier uses a fiberglass-free cotton blend rather than synthetic chemical alternatives.

Position the rolled mattress directly onto your camper bed platform before removing the plastic packaging so it expands right where you need it.

Allow the mattress adequate time to expand to its full 8-inch height after unboxing. While the CertiPUR-US certified foam produces minimal off-gassing, opening RV doors or windows during expansion helps clear any initial packaging odor quickly.

Use fitted sheets designed specifically for 8-inch Short Queen mattresses to ensure a smooth, snug fit over the corners.

If the included manual or product tags provide care instructions, follow them for routine maintenance and spot cleaning as recommended.
