Detailed Reviews
The LG S90TR is a premium soundbar system designed for home theater enthusiasts who demand cinematic audio quality. With its 7.1.3-channel configuration, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X support, it delivers impressive three-dimensional sound that places you at the center of the action. The wireless rear speakers are a game-changer, eliminating messy cable runs while maintaining perfect audio synchronization. The up-firing center channel excels at dialogue clarity, making movies and shows a pleasure to watch.
In real-world usage, the soundbar's advanced room calibration feature truly shines, automatically adjusting audio profiles to match your space's acoustics. Gaming performance is outstanding thanks to the 120Hz passthrough and low-latency processing, making it ideal for console gamers. However, the system reaches its full potential when paired with an LG TV; non-LG users will miss the seamless WOW Orchestra integration. The multi-platform voice assistant support and streaming compatibility add flexibility and convenience to your entertainment setup.
Verdict: The LG S90TR is an excellent choice for LG TV owners seeking premium surround sound and immersive audio technology, though its high price point and brand-dependent features prevent it from being a universal recommendation. It delivers impressive sound quality and gaming performance that justifies its position as a top-tier soundbar system.
