Highlights
- Please ensure your location has 4G network coverage before purchasing. This dashcam cannot be used if there is no 4G network coverage.
- The 4G LTE dash cam comes with a built-in 4G SIM card. You can also replace it with your own 4G SIM card by providing the UID to upgrade the dash cam. Note: 1. Your 4G SIM card must be from one of the three major carriers: Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile. 2. This device is not compatible with other 2G/3G SIM cards.
- 【Reliable 4G LTE Remote Access】The cellular dashcam turns any vehicle into a smart security hub. With 4G LTE, AI human detection, microwave radar, and real-time GPS, it enables remote monitoring without WiFi. Ideal for fleets, rideshare, urban parking, and teen drivers. Supports live view, alerts, and evidence via the uboxPro app. (Note: Remote features require a cellular subscription after the trial; Cellular plans: averaging only $0.59 per day; Local SD recording works without a subscription.)
- 【Car Security Camera for Vandalism】The dash cam with Sentry Mode protects your car proactively with radar detection and a G-sensor. Receive instant app alerts when suspicious activity is detected—ideal for preventing vandalism or theft while your vehicle is unattended. An OBD-II power supply enables 24/7 all-weather parking surveillance.
- 【Two-Way Voice Communication】Connect instantly with whoever’s in the car via the 4G LTE dash cam. Whether it’s your teenager driving alone or a delivery driver on the road, the two-way intercom gives you real-time voice control and peace of mind.
- 【Live GPS Tracking】Track your car in real-time with the built-in GPS of the 4G cellular dash cam. Whether you’re sharing your location with family or managing a vehicle remotely, you’ll always know where your car is—and where it’s been.
- 【Footage with Cloud Backup】Forget scrolling through your memory card. This car security cam automatically backs up event videos to the cloud, keeping them safe if the camera is damaged or stolen. Get instant phone alerts and access key footage easily, without the hassle of searching through endless driving clips on the card. (Includes free 30-day cloud storage trial.)
- 【Can I still use it without a plan?】The 4G LTE cellular data plan is required for remote viewing, two-way calling, app alerts, and alarm video backup to cloud storage. If you don't subscribe to a cellular data plan, you won't be able to use these features. If the memory card is normal, you can continue to use it like a traditional dual dash cam. You can only view and playback content from the memory card using the card reader.

Detailed Reviews
The LAMTTO 4G LTE Wireless Dash Cam is a solid choice for drivers seeking comprehensive vehicle monitoring with cellular connectivity. The dual front and interior cameras combined with 4G remote access, two-way voice communication, and GPS tracking make it particularly valuable for fleet operators, rideshare drivers, and parents monitoring teen drivers. The Sentry Mode with radar detection provides excellent parking lot security, while automatic cloud backup ensures critical footage is protected.
However, this dash cam's functionality is heavily dependent on 4G network availability and an active cellular subscription. Without coverage or a plan, you're essentially limited to traditional SD card recording, which significantly diminishes the device's appeal. The ongoing subscription costs, though modest at $0.59 daily, accumulate to roughly $215 annually and should be factored into your decision.
Verdict: The LAMTTO dash cam excels for users in areas with strong 4G coverage who value remote monitoring and fleet management capabilities, making it ideal for commercial or multi-vehicle scenarios. For casual drivers without consistent 4G access or those seeking a one-time purchase solution, a traditional dash cam might be more practical and cost-effective.
