Detailed Reviews

The Epson EcoTank ET-2800 represents a significant shift in home printing economics by replacing traditional ink cartridges with refillable supertanks. The inclusion of two years' worth of ink in the box is a genuine advantage, particularly for households that print regularly but not excessively. The all-in-one design with wireless capabilities makes it practical for modern home offices, and the environmental benefits of reducing cartridge waste are noteworthy for eco-conscious consumers.

However, the printer's modest print speed of 10 pages per minute may frustrate users with substantial printing demands, and the requirement to use genuine Epson ink bottles somewhat limits the cost-saving potential of the supertank system. Despite these limitations, the ET-2800 remains a solid choice for budget-conscious home users who prioritize long-term savings over speed.

Verdict: The Epson EcoTank ET-2800 is a reliable all-in-one printer that delivers excellent value and environmental benefits, making it ideal for home offices with moderate printing needs. While not perfect for high-volume users or those seeking the fastest output, it represents a smart investment for long-term savings and sustainability.
