Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine™ Cordless Wet and Dry Vacuum

The Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine Cordless Wet and Dry Vacuum combines intensive dry suction and active hard floor washing in a single battery-powered machine. Built around a 900W Hyperdymium digital motor generating 315 Air Watts, it addresses everyday dust, tangled pet hair, and liquid messes across multiple surfaces without requiring separate cleaning appliances.

Dry vacuuming relies on specialized attachments including the All Floor Cones Sense head to illuminate debris and de-tangle long hair, alongside the Fluffy Optic head for hard floors. For wet messes, the Submarine 2.0 cleaner head applies hydration, absorption, and extraction to lift dried-on spills, supported by a targeted Boost mode. Handheld cleaning is handled by the Hair screw tool 2.0 and a built-in crevice tool, both of which adjust suction and runtime to the task.

Maintenance is simplified by the CleanCompaktor bin, which compresses debris to store three times more dirt and wipes itself clean during emptying to prevent lingering tangles. Air quality is managed by a fully-sealed, five-stage HEPA filtration system designed to trap 99.99% of microscopic particles as small as 0.1 microns. The integrated LCD screen displays real-time cleaning metrics, while pairing with the MyDyson app unlocks software updates, maintenance help, and lighting settings.

As a multi-function wet and dry system with specialized cleaner heads, managing different attachments is part of regular use. Advanced features such as illumination adjustments and software upgrades depend on pairing the vacuum with the mobile app. The listed details also do not specify machine weight, tank capacities, or precise charge times.
