Dream On Me Twilight Baby Crib Mattress, Reversible, Both Sides Usable for Infant & Toddler, Waterproof Cover, GREENGUARD Gold & BSA Certified, Fits Full-Size Crib & Toddler Beds, 52" x 28" x 5"

The Dream On Me Twilight Baby Crib Mattress provides firm, structured support designed to fit standard full-size cribs and toddler beds. Measuring 52 inches long, 28 inches wide, and 5 inches thick, it addresses the everyday need for a reliable sleeping surface that transitions smoothly from infancy into early childhood. It suits parents seeking a traditional innerspring mattress that combines straightforward care with verified chemical safety standards.

At the core of this mattress is an innerspring system containing 88 heat-tempered Bonnell coils. This internal core is wrapped with two 1-inch fiber padding layers and reinforced around the edges by a 6-gauge steel border wire. Together, these components work to maintain a flat, even surface across the bed. The mattress is also fully reversible, allowing parents to flip and use either side for sleep without altering the level of structural support.

Everyday cleanup is straightforward thanks to the integrated waterproof vinyl cover. The outer layer guards against liquid spills, stains, and lingering odors. Instead of requiring complex cleaning routines, the surface wipes clean quickly with a damp cloth. Built for long-term placement in nursery beds, the cover is finished with lock-stitched binding along the seams for added durability.

Safety credentials represent another key aspect of the construction. The mattress is GREENGUARD Gold and BSA certified, meaning it has undergone testing for thousands of chemicals and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It is made without lead or phthalates and complies with 16 CFR 1632/1633 federal flammability standards. Additionally, the mattress is proudly made in the USA and backed by a 5-year limited warranty.

A key trade-off to consider is compatibility. Because this mattress is sized strictly for full-size cribs and toddler beds, it will not fit mini cribs, portable cribs, or playards. Buyers must measure their specific bed frame before purchasing to ensure proper dimensions.

Verdict: The Dream On Me Twilight Crib Mattress is a practical choice for parents setting up a standard full-size crib or toddler bed who value firm coil support and an easy-to-clean surface. Its dual-sided design and chemical safety certifications make it a dependable option for growing children.

Consider something else if you:

• Prefer a mattress design with a removable, machine-washable fabric outer layer.

Confirm on the listing:

• Measure the interior dimensions of your crib or toddler bed frame to verify it fits a standard 52" x 28" mattress size.
• Check whether your nursery setup requires a mini crib or playard mattress, as this model will not fit smaller frames.
• Review the specific terms of the included 5-year limited warranty to understand what coverage is provided.

How to compare your options: When shopping for crib mattresses, focus on structural firmness, chemical testing certifications, and surface maintenance features. Compare interior coil details, such as border wire gauge and coil count, to understand how edge support is built into the frame. If fast cleanup matters to you, check whether the mattress features an integrated waterproof vinyl cover or requires an external protector. Finally, confirm that the mattress meets recognized chemical safety standards like GREENGUARD Gold.

Before installing the mattress, measure your crib or toddler bed frame to verify a snug fit without wide gaps along the interior sides.

Because this mattress features a reversible design with Bonnell coils and dual fiber layers, you can periodically flip or rotate the mattress to use both sides over time.

For everyday cleaning, keep a damp cloth nearby to wipe down the waterproof vinyl surface whenever spills, stains, or odors occur.

If you choose to use fitted sheets or mattress pads, ensure they fit securely over the 5-inch thickness without altering the flat, firm surface.
