Detailed Review
The JACKYLED 18W LED Desk Lamp is an all-in-one lighting solution designed to illuminate work surfaces and brighten faces during video meetings. Built with a 5-layer optical structure, it disperses illumination evenly across the entire desktop to eliminate harsh glare and eye strain during long reading sessions or remote work.
For video calls and content creation, the lamp features a high color rendering index of CRI 95+, which reflects colors close to natural sunlight. Its 32-inch tall frame uses a 4-joint swing arm mechanism, allowing you to position the light head directly over monitors or angle it toward you without creating blind spots across your workspace.
Customizing your illumination is straightforward with 5 brightness levels, 5 color temperatures, and stepless dimming that combine into over 50 task lighting modes. You can adjust settings directly on the lamp base or via the included wireless remote. Built-in memory retains your preferred settings between uses, while the 30-minute and 1-hour auto-off timers provide convenient break reminders.
When considering this model, keep in mind that the wireless remote relies on infrared communication, meaning you must keep the path between the remote and the lamp sensor clear for stable operation. In addition, the necessary batteries for the remote are not provided in the package and must be supplied separately.
Verdict: The JACKYLED 18W Desk Lamp is a dependable, highly adjustable lighting choice for remote professionals, creators, and students who need glare-free desk coverage and natural color rendering for video calls.
