Children have plenty of built-in activities right out of the box. The interior includes a realistic kitchen complete with a cookware set, while the exterior features a magnetic Dutch door, two wooden flower pots in the yard, and a dedicated pet hole. Three open windows allow easy communication between kids inside the cottage and those playing outside across the 51.4 by 60.2 inch footprint.
Constructed from natural wood, the structure uses a water-based paint finish intended for outdoor use. For assembly, the package provides pre-drilled holes, pre-cut panels, and step-by-step instructions. The manufacturer recommends two adults handle the setup, which takes approximately two hours to complete.
Keep in mind that the manufacturer advises placing the playhouse in a well-ventilated area for a period of time before regular use. The listing also does not specify the exact wood species or whether additional weatherproofing sealant is required over time.
