Backyard Discovery Sweetwater Cedar Wooden Kids Playhouse Cottage with Play Kitchen, Snack

The Backyard Discovery Sweetwater Cedar Wooden Kids Playhouse is a dedicated outdoor activity structure designed for imaginative residential backyard play. Built from 100% cedar wood, it gives children their own play area with realistic cottage details while providing natural resistance against wood decay.

Inside, the playhouse includes an interactive play kitchen equipped with a toy sink, stove, cookware, utensils, and a cordless toy phone. A working doorbell adds interactive fun at the front entry, while the hinged half door makes entering and exiting straightforward. Large open windows allow natural light and fresh air to circulate freely, giving parents clear visibility from the yard.

For outdoor snacking and social play, a spacious side snack bar window acts as a serving counter for treats and drinks. Decorative window planter holders sit under the front windows to encourage an interest in gardening. Setup is streamlined thanks to pre-cut, pre-drilled, and pre-stained wood pieces finished in a light brown stain with black trim.

A few considerations are worth noting before purchase. The playhouse is designed strictly for residential settings and meets ASTM safety code 963 standards. While planter holders are built onto the structure, actual flowerpots and flowers are not included and must be purchased separately. Additionally, the wood stain saturation and color can vary from unit to unit.

Verdict: This cedar playhouse is an excellent choice for families seeking an engaging, feature-packed outdoor play space with a built-in toy kitchen and accessories. Its pre-cut wood design and five-year warranty make it a reliable addition to any family backyard.
