Detailed Review
The Peepst Solar Powered Ultrasonic Animal Repeller 2-Pack is designed to keep wildlife out of gardens, yards, and farms without physical barriers. It relies on a combination of ultrasonic frequencies and flashing LED lights to deter common outdoor animals, including deer, rabbits, squirrels, birds, raccoons, foxes, dogs, and cats.
A key advantage is the inclusion of three distinct operating modes. Users can set the device to emit ultrasonic sound waves alone, trigger intense LED flashes, or activate both deterrents at the same time. This allows property owners to adjust the deterrent style based on the specific animals visiting their outdoor space.
For ongoing maintenance, each unit relies on an integrated solar panel that recharges under sunlight, eliminating the need to buy or swap disposable batteries. Installation is straightforward, giving you the choice to push the included pole into the lawn or mount the housing directly to a fence or exterior wall. With an IP44 weatherproof build, the units are sealed to handle rain, snow, and strong sun.
As with most solar outdoor units, consistent performance depends on placing the panel where it receives adequate sunlight. The product specifications do not state the internal battery capacity, the specific ultrasonic frequency ranges, or the exact motion detection radius, so coverage planning relies on practical placement.
Verdict: This two-pack is a practical choice for gardeners and homeowners seeking a low-maintenance, solar-powered deterrent for common yard pests. It is well suited for anyone who wants flexible mounting options and multiple deterrent modes without wiring or regular battery replacements.
