Detailed Review
The EHDIS Wallpaper Smoothing Tool Kit gathers all the necessary hardware for applying peel and stick wallpaper, vinyl wraps, posters, window tint, and protective films. It tackles the common issues of air bubbles, uneven adhesion, and crooked cuts during DIY installations. Whether you are lining a wall, covering furniture, or applying auto tint, this set provides specialized tools for each step of the process.
For smoothing, the kit pairs a flexible soft sponge roller with a tapered-edge squeegee. The sponge roller is safe on any material, pressing adhesive materials flat without leaving surface marks or scratches. For stubborn bubbles and hard-to-reach corners, the smoothing squeegee provides the flexibility needed to work out trapped air and ensure a textured, clean finish.
Trimming is handled by multiple specialized cutting tools. A plastic squeegee with an integrated blade guide and handle helps you make straight, consistent cuts along window frames or furniture edges. For finer detailing, the kit includes an anti-slip craft knife with spare razors, alongside a safety wrapping paper cutter supplied with 10 replacement blades.
While the set covers a broad range of tasks, there are a few practical limits. The included measuring tape maxes out at 60 inches (150 cm), so larger walls may require repeated measurements. Additionally, the provided orange removal tool is noted for taking off old films, but the listing provides minimal detail on its exact mechanism.
Verdict: This EHDIS tool set is an ideal choice for DIYers installing peel and stick wallpaper, window tint, decals, or furniture wraps. Its balance of surface-safe smoothing tools and guided cutters provides everything required for clean, bubble-free results.
