Detailed Review
The EliteEdge 59-Inch Freestanding Bathtub provides an ergonomic soaking setup designed for homeowners updating their bathroom layout. Built with a minimalist silhouette and clean lines, it fits neatly into compact master bathrooms or guest suites where full-depth soaking is needed without taking up excess floor space.
Construction relies on high-gloss acrylic reinforced with fiberglass resin, creating a durable yet lightweight shell. This non-porous finish resists scratches, fading, and everyday staining, allowing you to wipe down the interior quickly after use. Beneath the surface, double-wall insulation slows down heat loss so you can enjoy longer soaks without continually adding hot water.
Comfort and setup are practical priorities in this design. The interior features a gently reclined backrest to support your back alongside a wide basin that leaves room to shift comfortably. Plumbing work is streamlined through factory-installed drain and overflow fixtures, letting most setups finish in under 40 minutes.
While the tub includes built-in drainage components, the listing does not include a freestanding or wall-mounted faucet, so you will need to source that separately. Additionally, taller bathers might find the 59-inch profile snug compared to larger alternatives, though a 67-inch variation is produced by the brand.
Verdict: The EliteEdge 59-inch tub is a sensible choice for anyone looking to add a freestanding soaking basin to a moderately sized bathroom. Its heat-retaining double walls and pre-assembled plumbing parts make it an easy-to-maintain fixture for daily unwinding.
