Detailed Review
The Clorox Cushioned Bath Mat is an in-tub mat designed to add comfort and grip to your daily shower routine. Measuring 17 inches by 36 inches, it covers a substantial portion of standard tub basins. It suits anyone looking to step onto a softer surface without sacrificing stability during bathing.
Built with a thick cushioned top, this mat provides extra padding underfoot along with added grip. To prevent shifting during use, the underside features suction cups that hold the mat firmly in place. It also contains antimicrobial agents designed to inhibit the growth of mold and mildew directly on the mat, helping it stay fresher between cleanings.
Keep in mind that this mat is strictly intended for smooth surfaces. It cannot be used on textured, tiled, or non-smooth tub floors because the suction cups will not hold properly. Additionally, bath oils must be avoided because they create a slipping hazard, and the antimicrobial treatment protects only the mat itself, not users against bacteria, viruses, or other disease organisms.
Verdict: If you have a smooth-surfaced tub and want a padded, machine-washable mat that stays in place and resists mold, this Clorox mat is an excellent pick. Just be sure to avoid bath oils and hang it to dry after every use.

FAQ
Can this mat be used on textured tub floors?
No. It is not suitable for textured, tiled, or non-smooth surfaces because suction cups require a smooth surface to stay firmly in place.
How do you clean and maintain this bath mat?
Machine wash it on a delicate cycle using cold water. After each use, you should hang the mat up to dry.
Does the antimicrobial feature protect against viruses and bacteria?
No. The antimicrobial agents are included solely to inhibit mold and mildew growth to protect the mat itself, and do not protect users from bacteria, viruses, or germs.
