Detailed Review
The Globluum 96GB MP3 Player is a dedicated portable media device designed for listeners who want streaming apps and local file playback without relying on a smartphone. Running Android 14 with access to the Google Play store, it bridges the gap between traditional music players and modern connected devices. It suits anyone looking for a lightweight, pocket-sized hub for music, audiobooks, and e-books.
Out of the box, the player comes configured with major audio and media apps including Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, TIDAL, Audible, and Libby. HiBy Music is also preinstalled, utilizing hardware-level FLAC and APE decoding alongside customizable sound modes to deliver detailed lossless sound. Under the hood, a 12nm processor and 3GB of RAM keep navigation responsive when switching between music playback and reading apps like Kindle or Moon+ Reader Pro.
For video and offline media, the device includes MX Player, which handles formats like MKV, AVI, and MP4 with automatic subtitle loading. Connectivity is handled by dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, letting you pair wireless headphones or stream directly over home networks. Storage is split between 32GB of built-in memory and an included 64GB micro SD card, providing 96GB of total space for downloaded tracks and documents.
Keep in mind that the listing does not provide details on screen resolution, display size, or battery life, so daily charging routines will depend on your usage habits. Additionally, while 96GB of storage is provided out of the box, two-thirds of that capacity relies on the included micro SD card rather than all being internal memory.
Verdict: The Globluum MP3 Player is a capable, highly flexible choice for commuters, students, and readers who want Google Play access, streaming apps, and lossless audio support in a compact 98-gram package.
