Detailed Review
The ZAQE X20 is a dedicated clip-on audio player designed for active listeners who want their music, audiobooks, and videos without carrying a phone. Built with an integrated back clip, it secures firmly to clothing or waistbands, making it a practical choice for running, workouts, daily commutes, or travel.
Storage and usability stand out on this model. With 64GB of built-in memory and support for up to 128GB of expandable storage, it doubles as a portable USB drive for large media libraries. The 2.0-inch TFT color screen pairs with physical buttons, allowing first-time users and seniors to move through folders and settings without a steep learning curve.
For listening options, the player includes a HiFi audio decoding chip along with Bluetooth 5.3 for pairing to wireless headphones and speakers. It also features an FM radio tuner, which uses a connected set of wired headphones as an antenna to pull in local broadcasts.
There are a few clear functional limits to keep in mind. The unit lacks built-in speakers, so audio output requires either wired headphones or an external Bluetooth connection. Additionally, while the Bluetooth 5.3 chip connects to audio outputs, it cannot pair directly with smartphones or tablets for data transfer or device mirroring.
Verdict: The ZAQE X20 is a great fit for runners, travelers, and commuters who need a compact, distraction-free media player with plenty of storage. If you want a lightweight clip-on design with both wired and wireless headphone support, this device delivers reliable everyday utility.
