Detailed Review
The YUKIMO 2-Drawer Lateral File Cabinet provides wide, secure document storage designed for home workstations and professional offices alike. At 26.7 inches wide, this horizontal organizer creates dedicated space for vital paperwork while doubling as an equipment stand.
Inside each drawer, adjustable hanging bars accommodate Letter, Legal, and A4 hanging folders, letting you customize each row to match your filing setup. The drawers operate on steel ball-bearing slides that open quietly and extend fully, so you can reach folders tucked in the very back without straining. For added safety, an integrated anti-tilt mechanism blocks more than one drawer from pulling out at the same time to help keep the unit upright.
The cabinet is built from robust steel with a scratch and rust-resistant powder coat finish. Its reinforced top surface is sturdy enough to hold heavier desktop machinery, such as printers, scanners, or computer monitors, freeing up valuable desk space.
Because it comes ready to assemble, you will need to spend some time putting it together using the provided hardware, manual, and video guides. Additionally, while the listing notes substantial equipment support, it does not state specific pound limits for the drawers or the top surface.
Verdict: This lateral filing cabinet is a dependable choice for anyone needing flexible folder organization alongside a sturdy stand for office equipment. Its robust steel build and built-in anti-tilt safety make it well-suited for busy work environments.
