Detailed Review
The OMOTON PAPERSENSE Paper Screen Protector combines the tactile feel of traditional paper with the impact defense of rigid glass for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Designed specifically for digital artists, note-takers, and avid readers, it overlays a textured finish onto tempered glass to reduce the slick sensation of drawing directly on bare tablet screens.
At the core of the protector is a 9H hardness material paired with a paper-feel layer. This build protects against everyday scratches and drops while maintaining responsive Apple Pencil tracking. The textured surface creates a more natural writing and sketching flow, and the enhanced clarity design keeps reading comfortable during extended sessions.
For viewing comfort, the protector features an anti-glare, frosted finish that minimizes light reflections when working outdoors or under direct lighting. It also helps repel daily fingerprints, smudges, and surface oils. Setup is simplified through an included installation tool kit and instructional video designed to help eliminate air bubbles and dust alignment issues.
Keep in mind that this protector is built strictly for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro across the 3rd through 6th generations. Those who prefer a completely smooth, glossy surface may need time to adjust to the tactile matte texture, and it will not fit smaller iPad models.
Verdict: The OMOTON PAPERSENSE is a solid choice for 12.9-inch iPad Pro owners who want the tactile drag of paper for drawing and note-taking without giving up 9H glass protection.
