Detailed Review
The Neodrain 24-Inch Gold Linear Shower Drain provides an integrated drainage solution designed for modern bathroom builds, renovations, basements, kitchens, and garages. Measuring 24 inches long by 2.75 inches wide with a central 2-inch outlet, it replaces traditional center drains with a sleek channel. The tile-insert design allows you to set your own cut floor tile directly into the top grate, creating a virtually hidden look that blends into your flooring.
Constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel with a PVD brushed brass finish, this linear drain is built for corrosion resistance and carries CUPC certification. It handles water volume efficiently with a 35 liter per minute flow capability. The internal channel features an enhanced shallow V slope, which directs runoff straight into the central outlet to prevent residual standing water from gathering in the trough.
Installation and upkeep are supported by several included accessories. Adjustable leveling feet help balance the drain body on uneven subfloors, while a threaded adapter joint with a rubber ring allows for height fine-tuning. For routine cleaning, the included lifting hook lets you remove the grate from either side to access the removable strainer, which catches hair and particulate impurities. The tile tray also includes clips to minimize metal-on-metal noise and scratches.
When planning your plumbing setup, keep in mind that the 2-inch shower drain base is not included and must be purchased separately. The unit connects to US standard No-Hub couplings using compatible PVC or ABS bases, but it is not compatible with Schluter Kerdi shower kits.
Verdict: The Neodrain 24-Inch Linear Drain is a great choice for homeowners and renovators seeking a concealed, high-flow drainage system with durable stainless steel construction. It is especially suited for standard US plumbing setups where a customizable tile-in look is preferred.
