Detailed Review
The DEWALT 10-Gallon Stealthsonic Wet and Dry Vacuum provides heavy-duty suction for home workshops, garages, and jobsites while addressing the common issue of loud motor noise. Built with a 5 Peak HP motor, this utility vacuum handles everyday dry debris, sawdust, and unexpected liquid spills without creating an overwhelming racket.
Quiet operation is the standout feature here, running at under 65dB. This Stealthsonic motor is designed to be 50 percent quieter while offering three times the lifetime compared to the current model. The 10-gallon tank is made from sturdy stainless steel, giving it the strength needed for rugged work environments while reducing how often you need to stop and empty collected waste.
Maneuvering around your workspace is made easier with a 10-foot power cord paired with a 7-foot hose. For tight corners and specialized tasks, it comes equipped with two extension wands, a floor brush, a round brush, a utility nozzle, a car nozzle, and a tool adaptor. Organization is built directly into the setup, featuring a dedicated accessory storage bag and an integrated hose strap for neat storage.
As a 10-gallon stainless steel unit, it is bulkier than compact portable vacs, which means it will take up a dedicated footprint in your garage or work area. Additionally, while the 17-foot combined reach works well in standard rooms, larger open jobsites may require planning around available electrical outlets.
Verdict: This vacuum is a great choice for DIYers and jobsite workers who need powerful wet and dry cleanup without the deafening sound of a standard shop vac. Its durable stainless steel tank, extensive nozzle selection, and quiet motor make it a reliable utility tool.
