Detailed Review
The HIFI WALKER H2 Mini MP3 Player is a dedicated digital audio player built for listeners who want uncompressed music in a pocket-sized format. It replaces the bulk of a smartphone during physical activities while providing dedicated hardware for lossless decoding, making it well suited for runners, gym-goers, and audio enthusiasts.
Audio decoding is handled by a professional ESS9218PC DSD DAC chip, delivering a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 120dB at 1kHz and total harmonic distortion under 0.005%. It supports lossless formats such as FLAC and DSF, ensuring your music library plays back with high fidelity. For wireless playback, it features Bluetooth with support for aptX, LDAC, and UAT codecs to stream high-resolution audio to compatible headphones and speakers.
Designed for mobility, the unit weighs only 60 grams and includes a built-in clip that fastens directly to clothing. Navigation is managed through a compact 1.54-inch touch display. Storage is generous out of the box with an included 64GB microSD card capable of holding over 12,000 songs, and the slot accepts cards up to 512GB for extensive high-resolution collections. The internal battery provides 10 hours of continuous playback and charges fully in 2 hours.
Because of its compact build, the 1.54-inch touch display is very small, which may require precise taps when browsing long track lists. Additionally, continuous playback is limited to 10 hours, so you will need to recharge it regularly during extended trips.
