Detailed Review
The Bestway APX 365 is an 18-foot by 52-inch above ground swimming pool designed for homeowners who want a permanent backyard swimming setup without seasonal teardowns. It holds 6,869 gallons of water at 90 percent capacity, offering generous depth and width for family swimming and backyard gatherings.
Durability is the primary focus of this build. The frame utilizes galvanized steel to combat rust and environmental damage, while the liner features three-layer Tritech material enhanced with Polar-Shield. This pairing provides reinforced puncture resistance compared to standard PVC and shields the pool from freezing temperatures, allowing it to stay outdoors throughout the winter months.
Assembling the pool is straightforward thanks to the ClickConnect System. The frame pieces snap together with quick-click connectors, eliminating the need for extra tools during installation. Bestway also includes all fundamental operational equipment in the box: a 1,600-gallon sand filter pump, reusable filtration balls, a ladder, and a fitted pool cover.
Because this pool spans 18 feet across and stands over 4 feet tall, it demands a sizable, clear outdoor area and a large volume of water to fill. The listing does not mention specialized ground leveling accessories, so buyers will need to ensure their installation site is fully prepped beforehand.
Verdict: The Bestway APX 365 is a solid choice for homeowners looking for a spacious, all-in-one pool kit that can remain standing in the yard through every season without winter disassembly.
